AMI Attachments – COVID-19 Update

This week has seen many changes and increased measures of protection for our communities against the COVID-19 virus. Many provinces, states and municipalities have declared states of emergency. On Monday, the Ontario provincial government announced the mandatory closure of all non-essential businesses.

By definition, AMI Attachments is deemed an essential service and as such, currently remains open for business. Please know that the health and safety of our employees, customers, dealers, suppliers and all those affected by our operations is our highest priority. At AMI we take our work seriously, supplying and servicing equipment that helps maintain critical infrastructure like roadways, agriculture, water and power services, to name a few. In a situation of crisis it is even more fundamental to our communities that we continue to provide these services.

We will be monitoring and operating within the government recommended guidelines, and while we remain open for business, some modifications have been made to how we will be operating:

SALES: Aside from pre-arranged exceptions that meet certain criteria, we are limiting in-person visits. But our sales team is just as eager to help you out! You can reach them by phone or email. Blackbird online quoting remains available to you 24/7, as normal.

SERVICE: Some in-person service may be limited, but we are ready and available by phone or email to help you make the appropriate service arrangements. Please reach out to us!

SHIPPING: Delivery lead times remain accurate as quoted. We continue to monitor the situation and will inform you of any changes to this.

OUR FACILITY: We have implemented increased and frequent disinfecting of commonly touched surfaces such as desktops, doorknobs and phones, in an effort to ensure the health and safety of all those on site and those with whom they come into contact.

VISITORS: In-person visits to our facility will be limited, and must be pre-arranged. Our normal business hours remain in effect: 8am-5pm EST, Monday to Friday. We will update you if this changes.

We ask that you DO NOT visit our facility if:

  • You are ill, especially with any respiratory symptoms, fever or new cough

  • You have returned from international travel within the past 14 days

  • You have been exposed in the past 14 days to anyone potentially ill or who meets the above criteria.

This is certainly one of the most challenging times our world has seen in decades. We are confident that working together through this uncharted territory will help us build stronger relationships with all our business partners. We thank you for your patience as we navigate this together.
