Built for municipal fleets, winter maintenance contractors, and residential snow-clearing crews, the AMI Rid Plow is a hydraulically operated, pivoting plow extension that clears snow accumulation from driveway entrances laneways, and intersections before heavy windrows form. Designed for wheel loaders, the Rid Plow prevents residents from being blocked in, reduces manual cleanup, and supports faster, more efficient residential route clearing. Mounted to a quick coupler adapter frame, the Rid Plow is designed for use with AMI 5000 Series 12 ft. Angle Blades (including FluidEdge options) to help keep snow out of driveway entrances. It’s hydraulically operated and built to follow uneven driveway and road contours, allowing operators to clear residential routes quickly and efficiently.
Hydraulic wing trip helps protect the plow when contacting obstacles and allows the operator to quickly reset the wing hydraulically without leaving the cab.
Floating rubber end plate follows surface contours, helping the plow glide over obstacles. Combined with rubber cutting edges, it reduces the risk of driveway damage and marking.
Mounted to a quick coupler adapter frame for fast connection and easy removal in the field, allowing operators to quickly detach the Rid Plow when only the blade is needed and reattach it when conditions require.
Pivoting design allows the blade to oscillate 5 degrees above and below the level plane, helping it follow driveway contours and uneven surfaces for cleaner, more consistent results while helping reduce the risk of driveway, curb, and turf damage.
